As an initiate you will be joining not only a specific coven, but also a religion, which is not a decision to be taken lightly. It is also important to realize that a coven will practice magic together and that requires a high degree of trust and harmony, which is why it is important to make sure that individuals who seek to eventually be initiated are able to blend well with the rest of the coven.

It is also important to realize that joining a Traditional coven is not like joining a social club or a weekend ritual, when you join a coven you make commitments to your own personal growth and also commitments to your fellow coveners and the Tradition as a whole.
